Unconventional use - LED Bulb flicker from washing machine
Unconventional use of this power conditioner - worked perfectly! I recently changed all the bulbs in our home to GE Reveal LEDs. The LEDs looked great (special filter that reduces yellow and highlights whites) - but when our Samsung washing machine agitated the laundry - the LEDs would pulse and flicker. After reading multiple forums - this was most likely caused by the inverter motor of the washing machine spitting out high frequency noise back into the AC line OR a loose utility neutral wire. I tried numerous different products to remedy the flicker - none of those products worked. I was pretty close to filing a warranty claim for the bulbs and replacing all of them with a different brand - but found an obscure forum where someone purchased this device and plugged it into the washing machine - which ultimately solved the flicker. I figured I would give it a try - and to my surprise - it worked perfectly - no flicker! Not sure how it works - but this seems like a very high quality device that does what other power conditioners cannot. Highly recommended.

Cleaned up noise in guitar amp
I bought this because I was having noise issues in my Fender tube amplifier (68 Custom Pro Reverb, but any amp would have similar issues). I figured out that the noise was in the electrical wiring for my house because when my lights were turned on, the buzzing would happen. I do have a dimmer switch that was probably making things worse. After using this power conditioner, the noise from the electrical wiring / lights was eliminated. I still have a very slight string ground issue / 60 cycle hum in single coil pickups, but the noise from my Electric wiring appears to be completely gone.

Dirty Power Beware!
This device is offers a simple and effective design that eliminated all of the potentially damaging hum coming through my speakers. There still exists an almost imperceptible noise floor, but it is only audible at significantly high volume levels. The sound quality of my system has also improved, with greater clarity and tonal quality, and a much better blend between low and mid frequencies. I used to think power conditioners were snake oil until now. I’m finally a believer.

I believe it is doing what I need it to do
This replaces the cheap surge protection I had on the big TV and speakers. I used cube-taps to get TV, speaker, woofer, and disc player all plugged into this little box. Brick-powered Roku, Echo, etc plug into a cheap power strip plugged into the wall. I don't think a surge can get to the expensive stuff thru these bricks.Got this mostly based on the brand name. I know enough electronics to appreciate a job done right. The manufacturer's claims make sense to me, but I do NOT have the test equipment needed verify this thing actually works. So, gotta trust the brand and what the manufacturer says.Cheap surge protection contains a zener or MOV connected pin-to-pin on the power to be protected. The MOV normally draws no current, but conducts large current when the voltage is abnormally high. That current opens the fuse. So, including a fuse and MOV in a power strip makes it a surge protector (just two cheap parts).Next level up on protection is filtering to stop fast transients on the powerline. The filtering gives other protections in the box a few extra milliseconds to work, so the box can be built to protect itself, and can be trusted to keep working.A side benefit of filtering is reduced noise on the output power. This stuff is not small, not cheap. Furman AC-215A has this.Next level up beyond filtering is regulated AC power. The AC input voltage may vary but the conditioned output stays constant. Easiest way to do this is AC-to-DC to storage (battery or capacitor), then DC-to-AC. Uninterruptible power supply for computer also does regulation, but these don't filter their own DC-to-AC conversion noise as well as a power conditioner.Of course, someone could copy the price and product description of an expensive product and claim their box of cheap parts is worth it. Gotta trust others that say you get what you pay for with the Furman brand.I must admit this purchase is based on faith. However, the warranty for AC-215A does NOT inspire. (minus one star for that)
