Make Sure you Use Heat-Shrink Tubing on the lightning cable, where it Connects into Your Phone.
I had this "professionally" installed by a local audio company, and the cable that connects to the iPhone ended up breaking less than two months later. Bought this replacement and only used the cable and adapter that connect into the phone. This time I used 4-5 layers of heat-shrink tubing where I grab the cable to insert it into my iPhone, This has proven to keep the cable from breaking open, like it did in the past.Charges my phone and allows me to play music through my car audio. Great investment, but make sure you reinforce the cable, or else IT WILL BREAK ON YOU. GUARANTEED.

Great unit and value if you're ok with car electronics.
I purchased two of these to hook up to iphone 6 / iphone 6+ and newer ipads. This thing works GREAT. The only reason I put it at 4 stars was because the switch to turn FM broadcasting is a little bit flimsy and it broke installing into my car on one of the installs. I would say that as much as I think this is a great unit, it's not for everyone. Also - verify your antenna connection and get an extension cable for going into your iphone. That way the built in connection everyone is complaining about won't break - you simply change the extension if it's worn out. There are some from california cables here on amazon that are like 9 bucks. This is the unit for you if:You are willing to install yourself and splice wires and drill holes. You are able to read a cabling diagram and possibly make mistakes. You are going to pay someone to install this. You want something that just works some the time (meaning it has to be turned on/off when you're using it - but it always charges the way I wired it). This is not the unit for you if:You don't want to mess with your stereo wiring to get power (you splice it into the stereo power)You don't want to mess with using FM are you want a perfect line in signal. You are not handy and don't want to drill a hole for on/off - this proved to be the biggest challenge for me on both of my vehicles.Overall if you've worked with radios before in cars, it was a pretty easy install and I never had to pop stuff out to re-do any wiring. Make sure you connect the wiring with either GOOD wire nuts or crimps. Don't just use electrical tape!

This one is even better than the last
I replaced my older one with this to fit my new iPhone, since adapters weren't working. This one is even better than the last. All the years I've used various adapters that interfaced with car radios via FM signals, FM signals directly to the antenna, or cassette adapters, they all pretty much blow. The technology just couldn't handle interference or frequency spectrum, picked up noise, clipped, sounded tinny or muffled, and faded, depending on local FM traffic. This seemed kind of expensive but I figured I'd give it a shot. First a temporary install. Well, apart from the convenience of it charging the device, the convenience of the permanent cable, and the universal install, it also completely rejects outside interference when it's on. You get your iPhone sound, period. It takes about a half second or second to sync or tune, and the background noise disappears completely. No FM noise or signal bleed or hiss. And amazingly, if you're careful enough to make sure you haven't messed up the connections to the radio and antenna, and made sure the shield is intact (I didn't want to mess with an adapter, so I just cut and soldered and then wrapped the connection with aluminum foil taped to the two ends, just to be anal), it really is a great sounding unit. And like I said -- this one sounds even cleaner than my last.

I've had it installed for about a year and it works great, but the cord is not reliable
I had the same issue as other reviewers. The cord where it connects to the lightning connector frays and breaks. I've had it installed for about a year and it works great, but the cord is not reliable. Also, if you have a lifeproof case the lightning end is to big to fit in the case and will require an adapter (lightning to lightning) that's hard to find. Besides the cable issues, this kit works as advertised, but honestly there are probably better alternatives out there. I'm hard pressed to recommend this solution.

Nice to integrate music and Lightning Charging capabilities.
Works very well, sound quality is surprisingly good for using FM frequency. Charging feature has worked on a number of devices without any issue. Don't rely on the instructions included with the unit, if you are not a pro, I would recommend Youtube for far more detailed instructions for your particular vehicle. One negative is that this required special cable (not included) for connecting to my Acura MDX port. While it does disclose this with the packaging, it's frustrating when you have the stereo out and dash apart.

Works as advertised
This kit works just like it should. installs easily. charges my phone while I listen to music. Great product if you can't or don'twant to upgrade the stereo head unit. Sound quality is less than CD but better than most of the FM channels I Can get.

Works great!
Was easy to install and sound quality is good. Not too difficult to operate. Suggest checking antenna hookup on car to see if adapters are needed.

Cord Issues
I purchased the iSimple IS7705 TranzIt LINK at the recommendation of my audio retailer in town. I paid to have it professionally installed in February and we loved it.After a couple months the cord started to separate from the plug and as the days and weeks went on it got worse and then started to get static or not even play or charge at all. It has a one year warranty, so no worries right?? :)I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to contact the seller. The seller 3 Kings Audio would never reply. The manufacturer wouldn't do anything either.I had to pay my installer to remove it and and replace it with something else. Bummer, the product worked well at first, maybe I just had a bad one, but the risk of not standing behind the product makes this one frustrating.
