I think whether you will like these or not really depends on your use of them. They are cute little rustic stools, with a modern flair, and they don't take up a lot of room. However, we are a family of five with three teenagers who have friends over a lot, so our kitchen furniture gets a lot of use. These stools are really not designed for heavy use. The metal of the legs and lower support ring are not that thick, and the screws that hold them in are really just screws going into sheet metal. There are no receptacles for the screws, other than then just grabbing onto the hole in the metal. One of our stools wouldn't even go together properly because the screw couldn't get a good bite onto the metal. We've returned them. But, if you are looking for stools more for very light use, they may be just fine.

Absolutely fantastic!
I was looking for counter-height stools for the island in my kitchen, and at the Ashley store the 24" height looked SO short! I never would have believed that they would be correct.I looked around at other local places (Valu City, Raymoor) but all their stuff seemed really cheap. The best stuff I found was at Ashley, and I'm not an Ashley Furniture snob, in fact I'm picking up my living room set from ValuCity on Tuesday. I just shop around and find the best stuff that each place offers.Anyway, got home, measured the height, measured me, and turns out that 24" is a lot higher than you'd think, and is what is known as "counter height".I found these on the Ashley furniture main web site, searched for them on Amazon, they had them at an absolutely amazing price of $40/ea (and I say that seriously, $40 a piece ... that's unreal! From China or not, it's a great price for what you get!).The packaging, the assembly, and the overall "heft" of the product is incredible. The seat is wood-ish material, but even if it's not real wood, it's dense, it's very hard and thick, and has been coated (I'm assuming a commercial polyurethane) at least 10 times. It's built to last and take a beating. And to top it off, for those in the "know", the screws holding them together had loctite pre-applied!$40/ea ... I can't get over that price.Oh yeah ... and free shipping!!!I never add pictures to reviews, but this one is worth it. I couldn't be happier with the quality of these and the overall product.(update 4/5/2015 - I noticed the price has gone up. When I purchased it was $80 for the pair)

Poor quality
Don’t ever review products, or rarely. Ought three sets. Opened the first one and it was damaged, no big deal, happens all the time, second, damaged. Third, damaged.Product is so cheaply made that all three experienced damage during shipping. Have bought fragile products before with no issues. Boxes didn’t seem beat up.Poor product.Again don’t normally review products but this is an exception. No big deal will return and buy something worth the money, not this product.

You’re gonna stub your toes..
The can easily adjust to uneven flooring by a simple twist at the bottom of each leg. They are well made and look very rustic. Love the way they look, but they are definitely NOT comfortable for long periods of time. I use one for a side table in our tiny house and have the other three under a kitchen table. The legs have little nobs that stick out like feet...watch out! Stubbing toes everywhere...

Just what I was looking for!
These are the perfect stools for our kitchen bar. I absolutely LOVE them. I waited to find the perfect stools, and I’m so glad I did because these match our decor and budget beautifully. The only thing I don’t really get is the price fluctuation. These seem to be a different price every couple days. I bought them on a Friday for $59/2 stools. By Tuesday, the price had gone up to $83/2 which is rather unfortunate since I was hoping to get 2 more.Other than the confusion with the price fluctuation, these are perfect for our home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality set of stools!

Simple Rustic Style
Nicely built stools. Great price for a set of 2 (I think I caught them on sale though). Black powder coated legs. Awesome distressed looking dark stained seat. Make sure you have a rug under the feet of the legs when using; they do make marks in wood floors despite using the foot pads provided. Please note these are counter height, not bar height.

Sturdy, nice looking stool
I was uncertain based on some of the reviews. However, they are great. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Nice looking wood top. Adds a nice value to our kitchen counter. We ordered 6 after liking the first two. The leg ends have an adjustable screw to help with any uneven floors. Recommend.

Not worth the headache!
Three stripped screws have rendered the stools useless. Top screws which attach legs to seat are fine... able to snug them down. Screws that hold legs to rung are junk. Legs could be stripped out too but screws are definitely. After screwing the first two, the third stripped. Thought I may have tightened a bit much so I was careful as I proceeded. After attaching a couple more, two additional ones stripped. There was hardly any torque on these at all. The manner in which the legs attach is a safety issue. At this point I am not disassembling them for a return. Ultimately what needs to be done is the leg needs to be drilled and a through bolt needs to attach it to the bottom rung. What a pain in the a%#. I recommend staying clear of these unless your into re-engineering a faulty design. Oh, and finish was chipped also.
