Stand up to long term use
Hello everyone!I purchased this set of Norske bits a little over a year ago in October of 2018. I use them almost every day at work as a field technician for a full service weatherization contractor. I would describe my use of these bits as light to medium duty and use them in combination with Milwaukee's 12v platform, primarily with their fuel impact driver. In my opinion these bits have held up well to daily use. Fresh out of the package these bits are machined so well they "grip" fasteners provided you use the right size for whatever fastener you're using. Even when I catch myself letting a bit slip and proceed to grind out the profile in the screw head, I dont even worry. They still fit well and hold screws well. The magnet in the bit holder is strong, it holds the screw in place for one handed operation if you need to hold something in place, and I can even use the tip of the bit to pick up screws that I drop if I'm in a precarious position, which is almost always. The case works well to keep your bits organized and in place. This case has enjoyed the company of larger tools (hammers, pry bars, various heavy hand tools) inside my tool box and has not cracked or popped open once through the hundreds of times I've thrown it in there. The sliding latch isn't sticky or hard to move and is still easy to use after all of this time. The one downside about this case, and its a nit pick at this point, is the smaller bit holders are flexing after many times throwing this case in the tool box. Sometimes when I open the case the smaller bits are out of position or half gripped in their slot and I have to put them back or reorient them so they dont fall completely out of their spot the next time I throw it.All in all, great bit set and imo worth the price premium. As someone who works in the retrofit construction industry, there's one bit that this set desperately needs. A FLAT HEAD.

Solid! 5 doesn't come easy from me
Solid! 5 doesn't come easy from me.Review for Norske NIBPI707 52-piece impact torsion bit set:Has to be one if the best driver sets around. The 3-1/2 inch bits give just that extra reach so I don't have to start plugging things into things and has the absolute best magnetic insert bit holder out there! Would buy one or two more of the magnetic holders if sold separately and for a reasonable price.PROS:Case is about an inch or so longer than standard cases allowing my 6in bits to fit nicely.Comes with a few unused slots so additional bits can be added no need to sacrifice bits to free up slots.CONS:Set comes with no slotted bits. Slotted screws are not extinct. The rails that hold the bits in place in the case do a great job but when trying to replace bits back is somewhat, pesky. Getting bits seated flat face forward usually requires multiple attempts.

Love at First Site
This is the kind of tool that glows before your eyes as soon as you open the box. When you grab it you know that you have in your hands something you will use a lot and will love a lot. It's that kind of a well done thing that makes you feel confident that your small investment was worthwhile. The box opens as smooth as butter. And is so well constructed that the axle that holds both halves together is meticulously manufactured in order to never slip away for as long as you may have it. The only thing I didn't like is that, as I have big hands, I need the help of some lever to remove most of the bits from their places. Beware when opening the package not to dispose it before removing a bit that comes attached to the skin of it.

Pretty good... not excellent.
These bits are pretty good (not great) for the $$. 2 of the 3 longest bits have a bit of wobble. The bite on the Phillips and square bits good, but not great.I almost gave this set 3 stars because the case is garbage. Difficult to open and within the first 2 weeks of use 3 bit places have had a small piece break off and won't hold bit now!! I'm sure many more to follow. I didn't just want a bunch of bits loose in a box. I wanted a good case to keep them organized in their places. Searching through a pile of bits to find right one is what I wanted to quit doing. Might not be an issue to some people I guess.I would NOT buy again because of case.

I am a professional carpenter and these were recommended by another PRO
I have used many different brands and styles of bit sets. These have been the best wearing and most organized set that I have used. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be to have a wider variety of bit options. Every once in a while I have to borrow a bit from another guy or go look in the tool trailer because I don't have it. This could be easily remedied if I took the time to buy the individual bits and use the extra slots in the case that are available.

Great and clean quality bits.
Very good quality bits. I work in the commercial door industry and can’t stand crappy bits that break in a screwhead or digging through a case that can’t hold the bits after a while. The case is very well made and clean. It holds the bits and you can hear it “snap” when you put the bit back into it.The bits themselves looks REALLY GOOD. So much so I have had other foremans compliment my set and ask where and who I got it from.I’ve only used them for about 3 weeks now, so I will update this review if I find anything to complain about. The price is good and the quality thus far is excellent.

Looks good but the bits are soft.
I like the case and selection of bits and adapters. I used these bits to install closets and work on other projects. The bits started rounding off after just a few uses. Admittedly, I am hard on my tools. However, at this price the bits should hold up much better.

The only set of bits you’ll need
I go through Harbor Freight bits like a landlord’s worst nightmare. These are very strong.I didn’t pay attention to the description or images, I bought them because they look cool and it seemed like I may strip the screws rather than the bits. It looks like you may need a complementary set, but there’s actually a little box with all the other kinds, including the safety ones.Aesthetically pleasing, goes well with my Ryobi driver, first set where is bummed me out to misplace pieces.

Bem completo.

Did not hold up to Milwaukee impact
This seemed like a good kit and a decent alternative to what I can get at Home Depot or Rona/Lowes. But it’s not. The small screwdriver bits that never get used constantly fall out of their slots and make a mess and eat up valuable work time reseating. The bits are mediocre and don’t last as long as expected. These are the minor problems. The major problem I had with this kit is that the bits do not withstand the force of my m18 fuel impact. I have sheared first the extension and then the 3/8” socket adaptor and each nut driver. I am a carpenter with an industrial contractor and do not recommend this kit for the trades. It would likely be fine for a handyman or a less demanding carpenter.
