Threshold Carson Horizontal Bookcase Midtone

Looks great. Very poor assembly instructions for such an intricate assembly.

Looked good in the pictures and based upon reviews, I would rate lower if I could! Front right corner of the top portion was busted and cracked and all the boards were warped! The quality of the parts also looked very cheap to me, not sure what these other purchasers received but mine was horrible. Can’t address the assembly or sturdiness as I just put it right back in the box and will return it tomorrow.

Lovely and study (for assembled furniture). Difficult to assemble.

I bought this to hold a 50lb brass statue and to give us some more book space. I had 2 objectives in purchasing this piece: it needed to fit under the window and well within the wall space. The center sections only hold very small books - like paperbacks, but the other 4 larger shelves are definitely adequate for hard cover books. It was not too difficult to put together, but I recommend reading all through the directions entirely and then starting to put it together. We put a couple pieces on backwards and had to disassemble and reassemble. It is beautiful and sturdy once (correctly) assembled and certainly does the job at a very low price. Looks more expensive than it was.

I needed a bookcase in my dining room for Bible study materials. This did have to be put together but it fit the purpose perfectly. It is small enough to be unobtrusive but large enough to hold a lot of books. I was very pleased with the functionality, size and color. It isn't fine furniture, it is pressed wood, but it is in my dining room full of fine furniture and it blends right in. For the price, what more could one ask for?
