I had my doubts about these but turns out they're GREAT! Wouldn't have imagined they'd stay in place on my granite countertops but they stuck like glue! Impressive... plus, they're nice and lite and easy to clean!

I prefer plastic cutting mats because I don't cook very often. When I needed to replace the very cheap ones I had I found these and purchased them. They exceeded my expectations. They are durable, and I love the grip surface on bottom. The size is great too and very easy to clean. Great value for the price.

Good, but not great. The 'anti' slip is good, but could be stronger. The cutting surface so far is holding up well, we do a lot of cutting (plant based diet and we prepare all of our food from fresh/scratch) and the knife grooves are not showing up after a month of use. The only issue is there is little divots on the cutting surface so foods like soft tofu and oils get caught in the divots and washing requires a bit more attention than a smoother, but it this is not a show stopper. The boards are stiff!!! Which is a great feature, since I can load up the cutting board and use it to transfer the food directly to and over the skillet without fear of the plastic bending or collapsing. The only reason for the '4 Star' rating is the anti slip which could be stronger. Otherwise a very good product. The only product that is better for anti slip is the Pampered Chef cutting boards, but these boards are not stiff enough and tend to collapse.

I already had a large cutting board made of glass that took up a large portion of my counter space. The problem was when I was done cutting up food, I hate to immerse the entire glass panel into the sink to wash off contaminants. This means if I moved from cutting up chicken to vegetables, I had to wash a huge cutting slate between each job. So, one day I am watching America's Test Kitchens and I see this product receiving huge accolades for its use and portability. I decided to go with the recommendation and purchased a set for myself. I can't begin to tell you how much better meal preparation has become since purchasing these cutting mats. With four of these coming in a set, I can now easily switch from cutting raw meat to chopping onions without having to do washes in-between. All the cleaning comes at the end when you simply rinse these in a soapy sink. I have also tested these in the dishwasher and they came out absolutely fine. There have been some complaints raised about the grip backing. I can attest to the fact that the grip is not as solid as I would have hoped it to be. There is a minimal amount of movement on the board during use, but it's not going to move wildly while cutting. I certainly don't think this is an issue that anyone should be concerned about. In all, this is a great set of cutting boards. I think Test Kitchens really got their review right and I am so happy that it enabled me to buy these. It has made food preparation so much easier.

I prefer using a thick wood board for fruits and veggies, because I really don't like plastics for food use. But I'm aware of contamination so these are perfect to put on top of my board for cheese , eggs, meats etc. I like how thick they are, they don't droop when picked up to slide food off into bowl or pans They don't dull the knife like glass or the newer line of stainless steel boards. They have a texture that doesn't yield to knife cut the way thin plastic ones do, the ones I tried always got sliced up and wouldn't come clean in dishwasher. These don't slide easily on Formica counter top, but truthfully anything could skid if pushed, it's not like they have suction, so be realistic with expectations there, because countertops come in various textiles As to size, some reviewers thought they were too small, yet it's clear that in America they are either 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 14. I agree that the larger would be better for chopping up a bunch of stuff, so consider that before ordering. I got the smaller size and will now order a pack of larger since I'm very pleased with the quality.

I bought a set of these in 2013 and am now going to replace them. I don't know if four years is a long time as I've never owned flexible cutting mats before. The mats saw what I consider heavy usage; I cook six days out of seven and other family members are very comfortable in the kitchen. Pros: thin and easy to store, flexible but strong enough to carry food from one place to another; four in a set so I always have a cutting board available without having to stop and wash one, comes in different colors so easy for my family to remember that certain colors are for cutting certain foods only. Cons: The mats are layered/laminated and I learned this because the layers on one of them started peeling away after just a couple of months (we don't have a dishwasher). Despite the textured backing, they slip while I'm cutting fruits and veggies (no problem with cutting meat, don't know why). They stain after a while, one of them - the one we used for meat - so badly that I threw it away last year. Now after four years they're all either peeling or stained or both.

We love these mats and use them all the time. We have the 11.5 x 14 inch sized ones. We first bought them in May 2010 (!) and only now in Sept. 2025 have we had to get rid of two of them because they were starting to wear out (too many cut lines forming). So we ordered another set. We use them daily, and just pop them in the dishwasher to clean. They truly are strong, flexible, and non-slip. I would give a six star review if I could. Definitely recommend these to family and friends without hesitation.

I love these flexible cutting mats. They are just the right size for small batches, store easily, and are long lasting. Plus, just toss them in the dishwasher and they come out like new.
