What's wrong with it? Is it discontinued or something?** A: The product is cheap because it is crap. When you plug the amp in to power and speakers, the speakers hum at 60Hz. This is the result of poor shielding between the power supply and the amp electronics, which is purely a function of cheap, crappy manufacturing. Pyle used to make good products - I have several of their amps from ~10 years ago that sound great. But something happened, and their current product line is garbage. It's cheap, but it's not a good deal unless you don't care about audio quality. **Q: Can this handle a 400 watt speaker system? Or do you know one I can get for that** A: What he said, basically. It actually the efficiency of the speaker system that determines the minimum amount of power needed. Most speakers are rated from 86 to 92db. The higher the number the less power needed to drive them. That is not to some highly efficient speakers do not sound better with more 'quality' (low distortion, etc.) high powered amps. This amp is certainly not one of those, but should work fine with small auxiliary speakers for a TV or a desktop audio system. **Q: will this work for the "Dual LU43PW Indoor/Outdoor Speakers" http://www.amazon.com/Dual-LU43PW-Indoor-Outdoor-Speakers/dp/B000A5S926/ref=sr_1_1?ie=U** A: Yes. I use this amp to power those exact same speakers for my radio station’s production studio. Small but mighty. Our jocks don’t spend a great deal of time there so they don’t get used very hard but it still gets the job done...well. **Q: Can I use this for external tv speakers using rca jacks to amp then hook speakers with speaker wire.. Thank you** A: Yes you can. Some tvs have a headphone jack . You can use a cable with a 3.5m headphone jack and two rca (male) jacks to connect to amp. I have done this. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pyle Home Home Audio Power Amplifier System 2X40W Mini Dual Channel Sound Stereo Receiver Box w/ LED For Amplified Speakers, CD Player, Theater via 3.5mm RCA for Studio, Home Use Pyle PCA2 Black - AILTECK Phono RCA Male Plug to AV Screw Terminal Audio Video Connector Speaker Wire to RCA Adapter 4-Pack - Amazon Basics 16-Gauge Speaker Wire Cable, 50 feet, Transparent --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://mauritius.desertcart.com/products/1148934-pca2](https://mauritius.desertcart.com/products/1148934-pca2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mauritius* *Store origin: MU* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
