Bliss
This works so wonderfully. I can hear well even while it’s protecting my ears from excruciating pain as a chronic sufferer. They stay in until I’m completely outside of the cabin. It is reusable for two flights only, and it’s not recommended to use after two uses. Each set has its own carry case. Follow the instructions on the box and you’ll be at bliss. They’re comfy too, but if your ears/ear canals are small like mine, I recommend the children’s pack.

Miracle
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had extremely sensitive ears when flying. The first time I ever flew over 10 years ago, I experienced the worst ear pain of my life. Ever since then, every flight came with anxiety because I knew the pain during take off & landing was almost inevitable. Over the years I tried everything.. chewing gum, yawning, pressure techniques, you name it. On one flight I even sat next to a professional diver who taught me several different ways to equalize the pressure, but unfortunately none of them ever worked for me. Then last May I found these. I flew from Florida to California (& back) wearing them & experienced zero ear pain. I didn’t need gum, didn’t have to constantly try pressure techniques.. nothing. They worked so well it honestly felt like a miracle for someone with ears as sensitive as mine. I’m only just now writing this review because I’m about to fly to Italy & immediately came back to purchase another pair. I couldn’t do that without leaving a review to say how amazing these are. If you struggle with ear pain when flying, these truly made all the difference for me.

Solid and Reliable
I’ve used the original Adult EarPlanes on several flights now, and they’ve definitely made a noticeable difference in managing ear pressure during takeoff and landing. The pressure-regulating filter works well, especially on descent, and I no longer get that sharp ear pain I used to experience. They’re comfortable enough to wear for the duration of a flight and easy to insert once you get the hang of it. I also appreciate that they’re reusable, which makes them a better value over time. The only downside is that they can feel a bit snug after a long flight, and they slightly muffle sound, so conversations and announcements aren’t as clear. Still, the relief they provide outweighs these minor issues. Overall, a solid and reliable product for frequent flyers or anyone sensitive to cabin pressure.

Reduces Pain If Used Correctly, But You Still Might Be Momentarily Deaf After Flight
The product came in good condition. My ears always hurt upon landing. It feels like a knife in my ear. These help to reduce the pain. The package says there is an app that notifies you when to use them. I haven't tried that, but I recommend using them during take off and landing, even if you only have pain on landing because it helps reduce the pain. I've learned to put them on 30 minutes to an hour for take off. After that I will take them off. And then an hour before landing (I take extra precaution because this is when I feel the knife-pain), I put them back in my ears. For added pain reduction, I also take a decongestant an hour before landing as well. When I do this, I barely feel any pain until I remove the earplanes and really only on one side where my ear drum had previously burst because of flights. ALSO, I do not remove the ear them from my ears until it's clear the cabin doors are open. However, even with all of this, I tend to be deaf, especially on more my sensitive ear for some time. Between use, I clean them with a wet wipe and I dispose of them once I use them twice. Also, I can still hear what is going on around. It's just softer and muffled.

Earplanes for the Airplanes!
These little ear plugs WORK! Had terrible Sharpe pains in ears when airplane was landing. Bought these and no more pain. You put them in before taking off and again before landing. I will get these on hand if flying for sure

Helps with ear pain and solves the crying baby
A must have if you are like me and my son who are very sensitive to pressure changes especially when the pilots run the pressurization at the bare minimum and metering it like a precious commodity. Might also help muffle the screams of all the other passengers if the plane were going down.

Highly recommend for chronic ETD
I have chronic eustachian tube dysfunction and I flew with NO problems. I cannot guarantee that these are singlehandedly the reason but I walked off the plane with zero problems. I quite literally got the eustachian tube dysfunction from barotraumic injury from flying 3 years ago. The earplanes themselves did feel uncomfortable to wear. I wouldn't say painful, but they are hard and stretch open your ear canal. I personally had a shorter flight so I didn't take them out when we hit altitude. They definitely act as ear plugs and reduce the noise around you. I was able to sit and read, despite the row behind me being full of young children. I highly recommend them. I was very afraid of the ear fullness that I typically get from flying but I experienced none of it.

I’m very sensitive to ear pressure, especially during takeoff and landing, and these have been a total lifesaver. I usually deal with painful pressure and blocked ears, but using these makes a noticeable difference and keeps things much more comfortable. They’re easy to use, fit well, and actually do what they claim. I don’t fly without them anymore — highly recommend if you struggle with ear pressure.
