Fits my rain barrel great! I am happy with my rain catcher system for my rain barrel.

The kit came quickly, and fits the rain barrel perfectly. The instructions are clear to understand, and is easy to refurbish when pieces require replacement. I have give the kit a rating of only 3 stars due to the fact that I have only drained water from the hose maybe a handful of times, and the little toggle switch to close off the water has already broken. As I have the hose attached to the little hook at the top of the barrel, it does not drain (but I do know from experience that the little hook goes missing easily, and I fear a draining barrel again). It still works, I just wish the hose valve was of better quality.

More than anything, I bought this kit for the mesh lid to keep mosquitoes and debris out. this works well and I screwed it to the barrel using 3 screws though the top. I have 2 barrels which are now connected. The first one overflows to the second one, and the second one overflows to a drain. The hose and tap that connects to the outlet work pretty well. The clip that holds the tap up against the barrel (when not in use) isn't terribly secure, but it all works well enough. The overflow hose is not good as it packed flat, and wants to stay flat even when attached. I replaced it with a piece of hose from my local hardware store. I'd buy this item again.
