I was surprised at the small size of the Simbr, but pleased that it fitted easily into my cupboard.It gives a good blast of steam, but can leave areas wet, and it is fiddly to fill and the amount of water must be carefully measured as there is no way of knowing how much is in the tank. In fact, the tank must be emptied after each use to ensure no water remains, as this may lead to over-filling on the next use.Sadly, after only two days, a number of issues arose with this steamer:Firstly, the appliance did not fit into the base properly - despite boasting that the base can carry the accessories - and came apart as I was carrying it down the stairs... which could have been very dangerous. Despite trying many times to fit the accessories into the base, it fits only the window tool and brushes - the other tools do NOT fit. Even removing everything from the base, it still doesn't click to the appliance. These issues, together with the trailing hose, makes this machine inconvenient to use.Secondly, the floor tool frame keeps coming off mid-use and the presence of the frame interferes with the effectiveness of the steam mop function in that it prevents the cloth from having proper contact with the floor.Finally, just as I had already decided to return it, the filler cap must have cross-threaded and will not come off, it just turns round and round.Despite high hopes for this highly-recommended steamer I will now be ordering the Which Best Buy Dupray Neat, which has a 3 year general warranty and lifetime boiler warranty.

I never liked the idea of dettol being all over the floor and slowly evaporating probably not great to be breathing in and the mop most be swarming in bacteria!This mop kills germs with intense heat rather than powerful chemicals so hasto be better for everyone. It doesnt take long to get up to temperature and any microfibre cloth can be used so it's also easy to maintain.The best bit about this is that it can also be used to steam around the grout in your shower to remove discolour. Can be used on clothes to remove creases and essentially dry clean. Can be used to clean windows too! Of course each use has its own attachment and they are all stored at the base of the cleaner.Very happy with this. I can throw out my mop, window vac and clothes steamer as this can replace them all.

Flimsy. Used about 4 times to clean a tiled kitchen floor and the handle at the top snapped in two, letting steam escape and almost burning me.Also not great at getting around corners or hard to reach places as it doesn’t pivot from side to side, only back and forth. I wouldn’t waste your money. I’ve ended up buying a Russel Hobbs floor steamer as I trust the name. Much more effective.

Looks like Im not the only one to have had this problem. I only use it sparingly and already the handle.has broke rendering this useless. It really is built poorly with soft cheap plastic. I cant even seem to contact the supplier to see if I can arrange a replacement handle.. really bitterly disappointed.

Have to refill far too quickly and first have to wait for it to cool down before you can open it. The tank should be bigger and also, spits out water for some time when you first fill it and takes forever to turn to steam without saturating everything. Now have to hold it out of the window and press it on until the water disappears and eventually steam forms. Disappointed.

Unfortunately after just six months of use the filler cap is impossible to remove. It just rotates around and around on its axis. It seems impossible to contact the manufacturer, and looks like they're no longer selling this model. Disappointing, as the steamer was good in all other respects.

Love this, easy to use. Has a lock button to hold steam trigger open or closed. I've had a few steam cleaners over the years and this is the best, it's smaller than my others had been but still has the same cleaning power.

The plastic tube that the steam comes down gets tangled in itself when hot so you have to keep unraveling it, that is the only negative but irritating bit. Love it otherwise.
