Works great for plants that require a nitrogen boost, especially in the initial stages of growth.
I grow most of our veggies indoors year around in our large basement under LED lighting. My latest project has been growing broccoli and Brussel sprouts indoors. In my research, I found that a high nitrogen fertilizer is required for initial plant growth and the fertilizer should be switched to a balanced formula after broccoli head start developing. This has worked well for my broccoli and Brussel sprouts. I have also found this fertilizer to be very beneficial for the many veggie greens that I grow. Since I also use other fertilizers with other nutrients, this blood meal is used only once a month on the greens such as Swiss Chard, kale, and collards. I have been happy with the result I have seen in my plants and would recommend this fertilizer for plants that need more nitrogen for foliage growth. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Bought this purposefully to keep rabbits in SW Florida from eating my ground orchards and it worked like a charm.

A good price for a larger sized bag.
Blood meal is a 0-0-0 fertalizer I use on my olive trees. I just spread it near the base of the tree and let the irrigation soak it into the soil. I can see the difference in the trees in a few weeks and the olive production is much greater 4 months later.

Great organic fertilizer
This brand is great. It is more of a powder type than another brand I used which was a small pellet type. I plant my vegetables in grass hay bales it take a few weeks to get the bales cooking internally by using the blood meal. Works much better for me than any other type of fertilizer plus it is organic.

Wonderful stuff
So easy to sprinkle around sprouting plants. It gives the garden a great springtime boost and corrects any yellowing. Since I don't use chemical fertilizers, it's an imperative, yet hard to find locally...especially the larger sized bag.

Good stuff for your plants. How funny, Im vegan and my plants eat cow blood. This turns kale into a jungle. Love it!!!
