Klein ToolsD511-6 Slip-Joint Pliers with Shear Type Cutting, 6-Inch

Klein tools has a good, solid reputation. I expected the same when I ordered these pliers. These feel comfortable and stable. They work as they should. The edges are polished and finished in appearance. This particular size is just right for the average needs around the garage and house. They fit well in large hands and are easy to maneuver in small places. This is one of my best tool purchases in a long time.

Klein tools, should I say more. Made in the USA. Quality forged. I am very happy I bought this item. Worth the money spent.

These pliers are good. The teeth are good and the open close action is smooth. I wish I would have realized how uncomfortable 6” pliers would be to hold and work with. It’s not the fault of the pliers that I ordered the wrong size. However the actual individual armss are also thick so it’s hard to wrap fingers around them completely that’s needed for the most amount of leverage for a hard squeeze.

Sure, its not a cheap pair of pliers, but its Klein, so expect to pay a bit more. Have you ever used the lifetime warranty? Likely not coz you dont need to but nice to have.What I like about this as oppposed to other Kleins, is the metal, it doesnt rust. The biggest complaint i have about expensive Klein Tools is that they rust easy. Why cant they fix that????? Its a stupid mistake and they MUST address it. But this doesnt get rust on it.Just about on every job I add a new klein piece. It takes the bite out of the high cost. and what do you know, after only a year or two, I got a box full! Cant go wrong with Klein.

Excellent quality pliers. It's nice that truly excellent tools are still available.

The rivet that connects the two pieces of the pliers appears to be a bolt that has been crushed. When you squeeze the plier handles together the plier jaws seperate a few millimeters because of the poor design/workmanship. Also, the fit and finish is OK but the inner sides of the pliers are rough.These are cheap pliers and not worth the money that they charge.

Great tools to have around, skip joint pliers are. You can find yourself in ANY situation where you need slip joint pliers. I find these more useful than Klein’s linesman pliers, as these can easily cut steel #9 wire with ease.

It's fine for a wrench, better than my old mastercraft one. The handle grip feels nice. I don't like how the blue grips press together when the joint is slipped to be more open, I feel like this will ruin the grip over time.

Strangely enough the manufacturer will not say that this product is made in Mexico by a US company! I consider these pliers to be inferior to the Canadian pliers I already own. When I searched out Klein tools they claim Mexico consumes the home made products but because we are far removed from Mexico, Amazon dumps them on CanadaK

Good Klein quality
