Amazon Basics Down-Alternative Mattress Topper Pad with Microfiber Shell - California King, White

Looks great!I just washed and dried it according to directions and it looks fine.I will be using it tonight for the first time to replace, or even just add on top of my old mattress topper, which was coming apart.The only thing I wish for this item was that it was made in USA, instead of China as it says on the item’s label.The whole time I was trying to find a moderately priced topper/pad or bed cover. Long story short, I kept coming back to this one after searching online for a few hours. Yeah! Only a few hours ;)I will update my usage of it and how it feels, etc., shortly. Thank you!UPDATE:— After 3 nights rest on this new topper/pad, I can finally get a feel for how it is.It feels... soft,plush, comfy, etc. I don’t know ow about sleeping on a cloud...whatever that means haha. But, this definitely “feels” like quality and my bed looks and feels better for it.Yes, I believe it made me feel warmer too. I use flannel type, CuddleDuds sheets (100% polyester) and this new topper helps keep in warmth I can tell as other reviewers suggested.I’m not so sure how this will hold up in a Southern California summer, but this inexpensive topper/pad really hit the mark.

I have been buying the same mattress pad for years, and it had problems, such as not wanting to stay on the mattress. Also it was almost as thin as tissue paper. It had over 6,000 great reviews, but- I thought I needed a change.So I started looking at mattress toppers. I have never been disappointed with Amazon Basics, and the one I ended up buying was only $7.00 more than the original mattress pad.WOW! This topper is so much thicker! And the comfort is wonderful. Just letting those out there know that this mattress topper takes the cake over just a plain mattress pad. And it’s worth the extra small bit of money. I am sleeping through the night which has not been the case before. You learn something new every day (or night).

I have always wanted a mattress topper, but I've been hesitant to purchase one because I typically get very hot at night. I noticed some reviews called that out, that this made them very hot at night, however I found it incredibly comfortable and did not get warmer than normal at night. It is truly so comfortable and I slept like a baby last night. I highly recommend, especially at this price point. I would recommend washing prior to using just due to a slight factory-ish smell. 10/10!

I have a twin bed I put this on, it's very comfortable and it stays fluffy even after 2 weeks, but it keeps pulling off the bed when you get out . I'm guessing because the elastic is to loose. Twin beds are hard to get sheets and pillow tops to fit and stay in place.

The material is made of a fabric blend and comes vacuum sealed in a bag. I purchased a full size and it fits well with my futon. The fitted corners are stretchy. Laid out on my bed it mimics a Japanese-styled comfort cover I’ve seen online, but for half the price. The thickness I bought is 2” and combined with a foam topper, my bed feels like a massive, heavenly pillow, but with the back support I need since I sleep on the floor. I’m waiting on a bed frame in the next week but this is a good, affordable cover. I don’t have issues with it feeling too hot. It’s very comfortable.

I've got a memory foam gel top mattress that i love but the older i get the more i notice hard/ firm bothers my back. I wasn't expecting much from this, more mattress protection then anything. But i was wrong, this is amazing. I noticed instantly how soft it was. It cushions my whole body in such a pleasing way.The great thing about this besides the feel, is that they made it so well. Most types of toppers only hug the mattress. This one gives you a good 4 inches under the mattress so it's secure. No slipping off the corners!I will be buying this again when it's needed.

I bought an AmazonBasics firm memory foam mattress that is quite form...perhaps just a touch too firm. I bought this topper to add a bit of plush and it does just that. It fits snugly over the mattress so it doesn't bunch or slide around, but it has enough give to go on without a herculean effort. It doesn't make the foam mattress sleep any hotter (although it doesn't really do much to dissipate heat, either, which I know I will appreciate in the dead of winter). An excellent product for the price!

I read a variety of reviews before making this purchase. Many people said it made their bed more plush and less firm, I only saw maybe a handful that said it was thin and not as supportive or soft as they wanted. I decided to get it and I have slept on it for two nights and I am considering returning it. While it is soft to the touch, it is thin and unsupportive. I have a memory foam mattress that is rather firm (zinus green tea from amazon) and maybe this type of topper does not have the same effect on this type of mattress. Perhaps it would be more effective on a hybrid or spring type. It was super disappointing to lay on it and feel virtually no difference. After two nights, I’ve woken up with the same discomfort from the firm mattress. If you’re looking for it to soften a memory foam, invest in a different one.
