Good adhesion and smooth finished surface
I really like this paint! Takes a minimum of three coats to cover completely but goes on easy and leaves a nice smooth finish.I am using it to paint over uncured fiberglass, no wax in final layer. Fiberglass is well set after a day or two and this paint adheres very well.I have experienced bubbling with other paints, epoxy two part paints, on this uncured fiberglass making it necessary to remove it. I am using the Interlux Bilgekote to paint the undersides of the new deck wood on my boat. I am also using it to seal the surface of underdeck floatation foam and it fills the exposed open cells of the foam after three coats well enough for me to call it good. The carpet glue sticks like howdy to the painted underside very well where the carpet is folded underneath with no issues. Even though no one will ever see this painted surface I know that the underside of my deck wood is protected from moisture. I highly recommend this paint for the purpose it is intended for, protecting wood surfaces. In the picture of the fore deck underside I used only two coats except the area around the live well where I used three coats. You can see the lack of complete coverage but this surface was fiberglassed so no worries plus it will never be seen again, in my lifetime at least. :) The second photo shows the subfloor of the main deck where 8 pound pour in foam was used to flatten the surface to give good support for the fiberglassed main deck marine plywood. The underside of the main deck was also fiberglassed and painted, a bit of overkill perhaps but I like what I did. The top surface of the main deck was fiberglassed after it was screwed down securely then two coats of non slip surface gelcoat was applied over that.If you plan on painting a newly fiberglassed surface do not use wax or a resin with wax added because this wax surface must be removed after curing or the paint, any paint, will not adhere. I used no wax additive in my resin except for the last coat of gelcoat on the main deck. The fiberglassed surfaces become fully cured once the surface is covered by either carpet glue or paint that cuts off oxygen to the fiberglass surface the same as if you used wax to cure it.

high quality
made my old ski boat bilge look brand new. easy to apply. has an epoxy feel to it. thicker than "regular" paint

disappointing coverage
I'm sure this is very high quality bilge paint but just be aware that it is thin , drips everywhere, and the coverage is mediocre. I am painting over existing white bilge paint and one coat of this doesn't even begin to cover. It should not be necessary for two coats or three coats on top of existing paint of the same color. But with this thin paint it is

This paint is awesome. I painted the back half of my flats boat around the bilge, gas can, live wells, under deck etc. with this. It's a little thin on application but a couple coats is what you want to do. It dries very hard and cleans up very easily so far with everything I've spilled on it. I'll see how it holds up in a year or so in the sun, hopefully it won't yellow too much.

FAST shipping from vendor and product works as advertised.
As advertised. Was better value than some other local and on-line vendors. Price is still seemingly high for paint. None the less, it did an amazing job in the engine compartment. Covered up stains that could not be completely removed. Took about 2/3 of the quart to do two coats on a Bayliner 2655 engine compartment and hatch.

Great for shower tiles
Bought to paint pink ceramic border and center line tiles in shower. Works great, but very high sheen.

its like you dipped the item in liquid plastic
This stuff is the bomb. When dry, its like you dipped the item in liquid plastic. Very tough. I used it on a bilge repair, and also on my new wood work bench. Pretty noxious, so only use in well ventilated area. Takes several days to stop smelling.
