Amazing that the included instructions mentioned NOTHING about resetting the combination!For buyers, this instruction: (Factory setting for combination is 0-0-0)1. Depress the side button on the right side (near third digit of combination, leaving the male end in the female lock2. Roll the combination rollers to your desired combination while depessing the side button...the combination to open is now set to your combination.

We bought these straps for an overseas trip as a backup in case the zipper on our luggage failed. (We did not want to see our clothes spread out on the baggage claim because the suitcase burst open.)Ended up not needing them but they feel extremely well made and heavy duty. Combination lock was easy to use and set.Nice bright colors so easy to find in low light.

Strap broke on first trip. Also if you lock them TSA cannot access your bag.

Very good in stability works amazing

Straps didn't have leather patches for cross tying suitcases. The construction does not allow easy adjustment to different sized suitcases. The instructions were useless and overly pompous.

What good is a lock without instructions for how to set the combination. Yet, you receive a 5x7 instruction booklet that really has no useful information. Gee, I wonder where the combination lock instructions could have been provided with a little forethought?

Was looking for TSA locks and stumbled onto this. The lock and clutch are very sturdy and name tag would also help self identification reducing endless wait at conveyer belt to identify my luggage or in case of misplaced luggage(Which is very usual these days).Given this could be extended might also work on XL luggage i didn't try that yet though. While I loved the colors.. I wish there were more (neutral) color options to choose from to go with different variety of luggage suitcases
