MTTC Mathematics (Elementary) (89) Test Secrets Study Guide: MTTC Exam Review for the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification Pap/Psc St Edition

So far my experience has been positive. I am still in the process of studying for my exam but I like the books format so far. The video links are very helpful and provide adequate review of the content. I would highly recommend this book for anyone.

I like the content and the explanations from this book. However, I do not know if the information will be beneficial when I take my MTTC elementary test. The rating of this book can change depending on how similar the examples are with the actual test.

The book contains a good sampling of the real test. My daughter, a math teacher in middle school had not taught for five years. She studied this book and passed the test the first time she took it.

Despite the 4 star rating, I found this study guide to be useless. I was very disappointed with this guide because it is not specific to the MTTC exam. After taking the exam, I realized that the guide had arbitrary information and was missing a fair amount of content. Find something else. I liked using 240 Tutoring.

I would rate the book a 4, just because I haven't finished it yet and it does cover a lot of information you will need to take the test. I would have appreciated it more if the book had example problems with each subsection of the book. I believe that would have gave me a greater understanding.

Just the book my daughter needed and it arrived even sooner than we hoped. Thanks for that as it gave my daughter another week to study.

Great resource for MTTC however it would be awesome if more examples are given of the different Mathematics areas.

I studied this book extensively before my Math (89) MTTC test, and I didn't really find it to be helpful once I got to the test. The problems in the book were a lot different then the problems on the actual test. I don't even think it really covered the same concepts.
