Sun Zero Celestia Geometric Print Energy Efficient Grommet Curtain Panel, 54" x 63", Taupe

These were great and look great in our living room. These are not blackout curtains and I don't need blackout curtains. These serve well for us. They won't let the sun in but let enough light in to keep the room from getting dark. They won't keep the cold out and won't save any energy. In the early evenings, it will make the room dark when the sun is not hitting the windows. I got the brown curtains as that matches with the room decor and we like it. They have sateen like texture to them and drape well. The back side is grayish color. I was looking for curtains that drape well and are not made of sheer material. Some one posted that they are dirty brown but I think it depends on the way you look and depends on the room decor. It looks good. I had to iron down the folds and the folds went out easily. I ironed on the backside with low setting. I didnot want to burn the sateen material on the front. I posted pictures of the window where we get plenty of sunlight and another window where there is no sunlight.

The curtains hung well right out of the box. They really look great in our dining room. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more for the living room. The design and colors make the room feel cozy and relaxing. They do not completely block the light out but that's what I wanted. They are very light weight but look allot better than more expensive curtains and hang just the way they are pictured in the add. I am very satisfied with this product, and highly recommend. A very good value.

These aren't as thin and flimsy as some of the other Sun Zero curtains I tried. They are silky like and do pretty well blocking light for watching TV. They are not light blocking by any means, but do a decent job with darkening. They are very cute and add just enough drama to my living room. I have 1 panel per window (27in wide window I believe) and 2 panels for our picture window, which is plenty big and use those metal C-arm pullback things, making it easy to pull back the curtains or release them quickly. When buying curtains on here, I ordered just 1 panel of the ones I was interested in to see how they looked first and returned the ones I didn't like. You may have to pay return shipping, so don't go too crazy, lol. This was 1 of 3 choices.

Like the colors and the drapes are made well. They hang perfectly right out of the package. We bought these for our slider in our bedroom. The only problemIs that these are room darkening and NOT blackout drapes. I will keep them but I may have to buy a liner as this may get fairly annoying on summer weekend mornings.

Updated 08/31/2013 - It's a beautiful sunny morning and I can now confidently tell you that these curtains are NOT black out curtains. If we did not have the paper blinds behind, they would be, at best, light filtering, maybe even room darkening, but they are definitely not black out curtains. They will suffice for our needs with the paper blinds behind, but if you are looking for true room darkening, black out curtains, I would consider other options ahead of these particular curtains.08/28/2013 - I just finished hanging the panels in our upstairs family room. My goal was to provide a room darkening experience so as to better enhance our tv viewing. We have windows on the north and east and get a lot of day light. Currently, we have the paper temporary blinds in place.Function: It's 7:30 p.m. CST and it's a bit overcast outside. That being said, the room does seem much darker now, but I think that were I to take down the paper blinds, it would not be quite as dark. The true test will come this weekend, when we sit down to watch television and I'll update this review with my thoughts at that time.Decor: The curtains are a fun pattern that to my great delight pull in the other colors in the room. The brick background has sage green, mocha and gold circles. They bring some fun and pattern into the room. The panels are silky feeling in texture, have a generous hem should you want to let them down a wee bit and a grey backing on the street facing side.Overall - I'm hoping not to be disappointed when the sun is out, as I really like the curtains and the price was more than reasonable

These are not blackout they are light-filtering curtains. Lightweight, not heavy, but you cannot 'see through' them. The photo shows them in front of a large window, and you can see the light filtering through. (The yellowish hue is an interior lighting issue.) I purchased the Taupe, and added a dark brown panel on either side. Love how the pattern is not too busy, but adds a bit of flair to a bland area. Liked them a whole lot at first... but the more I looked at them, the more I loved them... and still do!

Of course these aren't blackout curtains, the description states they are room darkening and that is exactly what they do. I ordered these for my living room because I want to block bright light, but still let in some daylight. These are perfect! The color, fabric, and circle design are lovely. I cannot believe the difference they made in the room. I used the curtains with a lovely brushed nickel rod with crackled glass sphere finials. Gorgeous! The colors & luxe feel of the fabric really dressed up the living room. The price on these can't be beat. I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered two for a hallway window and now am ordering more for my livingroom window, plus the side panels. I ordered two for a 35 inch window and this was good for fullness and to get the bunched up look. The valence is thin, so one will not be enough, unless the window is 12-18 inches. My other window is 90 inches, so I am going to try 6 valences. They look excellent above white 2 inch plantation style blinds, and don't darken the room too much. They are a nice way to add some pizzazz to a plain room.
