Worked great
I saw only one review for this tool and it was a 1 star review. I bought it anyway.I don't usually do reviews but feel the tool didn't get a fair shake.I'm not a mechanic or by any means an expert but it worked great,. Very easy to use. Not sure how it could break if your using the tool correctly.I would certainly buy it again, except that I will probably use it so seldomly, I would think it would last a lifetime.

Holds the Piston
It does what it’s supposed to do.

Item broke in chainsaw cylinder.
I needed to replace the clutch and sprocket on my MS390 Stihl chainsaw. I watched a YouTube video on how to do this; the video recommended this piston blocking device. (You need to stop the piston from moving so you can unscrew the clutch.) As I attempted to unscrew the clutch the plastic tool sheered. I ended up using some cord I had lying around (filled the cylinder above the piston with the cord to stop the piston from rotating). I spent about $25 for this tool...for nothing. I would not recommend this tool. Use the cord method, it's cheaper and as fast. Watch a YouTube video if you're unsure how to use a cord.
