They really don't tangle
He gave up fishing pretty quick when he didn't catch a fish but we will try again. It was cute. My grand daughter got one too but she likes to look for bugs more. Fishing might not be their thing but they are young. Great fishing rod for kids.

7-year-old loves it
The media could not be loaded. This is my sons first fishing pole and itâs been great for him to get into fishing. Itâs very smooth when he casts and easy to reel in. He practiced for hours sitting in our tramp and trying to cast it into a kiddie pool. The size is good for him and the rod seems good and durable

Got this for my grandson for Christmas and he loved it! This is a sturdy, quality pole and the finishes on the pole and reel is durable and fun. Really impressed with quality and the attached/included caster is a great touch for kids learning to cast!

Great first fishing pole for toddlers ages 4-7
Bought this for my 4 years old grandson, bought a rubber plug so he can practice casting and reeling. He loves and so does his dad. 5 months later he destroyed it, and he wants another one.

Perfect Little Fishing Pole
The media could not be loaded. Our 8-year-old granddaughter had never fished before, and this pole was perfect for her. She was able to easily cast, reel it in, and she caught her first fish! The pole is sturdy, easy to use, and does not tangle like promised. We only wish it had come in pink!

Not durable
This is a great size for a 2.5 yr old but it broke really easily and for that I only gave 1 star. Frustrating.

Great but one thing..
Avid fisherman here and want my nephews to enjoy it as well. Upon replacing the line, getting it through the tube, since it has no guides, was not the easiest.
