DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS EDITION
I just received this and SHAME on the publisher for putting out this "new" edition. If you look closely, a number of the admissions statistics are OLD, dating back to 2015 and are exactly the same as previous editions! And, these greedy publishers had the nerve to raise the price significantly, this year! Shame on you for fleecing well intentioned students!

Not for Graduate Programs
Okay so from everything I have seen of this I was led to believe this would help me pick a Graduate level MASTERS program in Clinical Counseling Psychology and figure out if an APA accreditation was important for me or what other options there are.I will admit I should have noticed the little AND in the title... There is a difference between looking at Clinical AND Counseling Psychology programs & looking for Clinical Counseling programs which is the one I am looking for so I did miss that in buying this bookThe major problems though come from this being primarily for DOCTORATE level programs the only time it mentions MASTERS level is to tell you you do need one to get your doctorate and tell you to ensure you have an APA accredited masters in order to get an APA accredited doctorate. I just finished undergrad and was looking for help finding a masters program which is what this book advertises itself to be.This book only addresses APA accredited programs as well which is fine if that is what you need and are looking for however the jobs I am looking at specifically ask for CACREP certified programs only which this book never mentions. If a book about graduate programs only covers one accreditation type that should be mentioned in the description.Overall I was disappointed and felt this book misrepresented itself

I am beyond grateful to this text.
I feel extremely lucky to have purchased such an incredible wealth of knowledge. I feel much more prepared to begin a professional career in Psychology. The book reads easily and equips you with all of the necessary knowledge to succeed. It offers a path for everyone - seniors in college, those a few years out, and those in entirely other professions. This text saved me from getting an unnecessary masters degree and wasting precious time and thousands of dollars. If you are wondering if this book will have the answers to your very specific questions about graduate programs in psych, it will. Many thanks to the authorsMarissa

Essential
Essential guide for clinical and counseling programs. I'd recommend it to any graduate student. I also emailed the author a couple of questions I had, and he was very responsive and kind. My only critique is there are a few copy editing errors, and its probably unnecessary to come out with a new edition each year.

Very Informative!
I am glad I bought the book however, lower tier colleges are not mentioned , only top-tier (well-known)! The book is the 2020-2021 edition and has very useful information! This book is very resourceful! Informs you about GPA's, acceptance rate and GRE scores needed! The email addresses and contact information of all the universities are listed! The colleges are also listed by specialization to help those who are searching for colleges by clinical major!

Extremely Helpful
Thank you so much for the quick shipping! I expected to receive the package around mid-June as I live in South Korea. However, it arrived in much less time than mentioned on the website, which helped me speed up the application process and also enhance my understandings of the American Ph.D. systems. The book contains a significant amount of information critical when getting ready to apply to Ph.D. or Psy.D. on clinical or counseling psychology. Multiple data including graphs, interviews, examples, and list ups saved so much of my time. Without this book, I'd have had to waste time looking for all theses information separately online, without the quality and reliability of that information guaranteed. Thanks so much!

ZERO INFO ON MASTER'S PROGRAMS!!
The title says "Graduate Programs. One would assume this means Master's programs as well as Doctoral programs. But it only has info on Doctoral programs. I feel mislead. Returning.
